Works Great!

Belkin and Mophie did a side by side evaluation. I placed two brand new iPhone 8+ phones on the Belkin and the Mophe and set a timer.

The Belkin over a 30min timer charged only 2% more than the Mophie. No big deal.

Both feel nice. Personally the Belking is nicer looking than the Mophie.

Buy either one.

Aside from the looks.. they both perform almost the same.

The Mophie is a black disk about the same foot print of a typical coffee mug
The Belkin is a white disk about the same dimensions of a typical tea cup saucer.

The Mophe does have a little nicer power supply..

BOTH are approved by APPLE
A solution to an inconvenience and problem you didn't realize you had

This is the epitome of a solution to a “first world problem”. Lying in a bed at night, too lazy to reach down and grab the phone charger. Don’t worry, just drop it on the wireless charging mat. Problem solved.

I purchased this because I was mainly just curious about the technology as this is the first time it has been available in an Apple phone and I figured it would be convenient but not really much of a difference.

I have to say, I am in love with this thing though. I feel silly saying that plugging in my iphone every night was an inconvenience but after using this wireless charging pad for a week that is exactly how I would describe it. Just set the phone down, and it starts charging automatically through my iphone X case. No need to remove my case or buy a special case which is awesome.

Highly recommended. One of those products that no one needs but everyone will think back after a couple weeks of use and be like, “why have I have been plugging my phone in? Cords are so outdated”.
It works good for the iPhone8

This product is okay. It works good for the iPhone8, but for the iPhoneX, I have to find a particular sweet spot for it to charge. I thought I'd save time by not fiddling with a charger cable, but now I'm spending more time trying to place my phone on the "sweet spot"
Works as advertised but make sure phone remains centered on the device.

The Boost Up works as advertised with the iPhone 8 Plus. In my testing it charged the phone successfully just by placing it on the pad. I was able to have the phone charge on the top of the Boost Up while also capturing video footage out of the lightning port with an HDMI adapter. It was also able to charge my phone with a plastic case attached.

Operation is very simple although the phone needs to be almost perfectly centered on top of it. Once attached it doesn't slip off very easily even without a case on but it is possible to knock it out of its ideal charging position. Charging is about the same speed (maybe a little faster) as compared to the standard AC adapter included with the iPhone 8.

All in a nice product, simple to use, and a great way to charge your phone without having to plug anything in.
Expensive for what you get. Consider saving your $$$ for Apples upcoming AirPower wireless charging mat

Originally, this product was exclusive to the Apple Store (where I purchased mine in October). It was one of only two Apple certified wireless chargers at the time.

- Apple certified - comforting to know you aren’t frying your $1,100 phone with a non compatible charger
- Convenient way to charge phone.
- The ‘7.5W BOOST UP’ now works with the latest iOS 11.2 software update. Charging should be faster, but I can’t confirm yet
- Pricey
- Small sweet spot for charging. It must be properly centered
- Any movement or bump will interrupt the charge. It’s also not very apparent when the charging stops...expect a few surprises in the morning (this has bit me twice)
- Phone hangs over both the front and back (when positioned properly) and it almost seems a little unstable

Before spending $60+ dollars on this item take a look at Apples upcoming AirPower mat. It will wirelessly charge multiple devices and looks as thin as a neoprene mouse pad. It’s not cheap, and may be priced as high as $199.

There is really nothing special about this charger, and others are available for half the price.

If the AirPower mat is in your future, I’d hold off buying anything, and just use a cable until Apple’s wireless charger is released.

Bought a crappy knockoff wireless charger a few months back and it worked for a day or so then didn’t after that. They said you can’t have case on. Sent that one back and continued to plug in every night. Then thought I’d try this one since it’s a well known name with extra boost. I have the 8plus with Otter Commuter case and it works perfectly. Have had it now for about a month and love it! No more plugging in/out.
Solid product

Works great with my iPhone X and I have a $10 spigen case on it. I don’t feel like it’s too small or falls off the charger ever. I bought it because I stay up way too late on my phone in bed and it’s so much easier to just set it on the charger rather than find the cord to plug in that’s usually on the ground.
it seems like such a small thing-not having to plug and unplug ...

5.0 out of 5.0 by Candace Hurley on January 4, 2018 seems like such a small thing-not having to plug and unplug your phone while charging. But when it's by my bed at night and is plugged in and i get a text and knock everything off my nightstand... it's a big thing. I was so happy with this charger that I've ordered a second one for my desk. I am so happy with this small thing that makes me smile every time I use them!
Simple!! Great for office or bedside.

Very simple to use. I noticed that some people said this had to be placed a certain way in order to get a charge, but I haven’t had any issues. Just place you phone centered on the circle and it should charge. I’m ok with the light, it’s small and not as bright as some people are saying it is. If have my charging station by my computer and whenever I’m not using the phone I just set it on for a charge, when I need it I just pick it up and there’s no cord to hassle with. It’s great I love it.
Good purchase ..... convenient charger ......

Using this with an iPhone 8 and 8Plus ....... works as intended ...... seems to take just a bit longer to fully charge then if the phone was plugged in with an Apple cord ....... phones get a bit warm (not hot) as well ......

Great purchase as we have it placed in a very convenient location ...... and its very easy to just place your phone down as you come into the house, and still have the phone near-by as it charges ......
